The solution is to generate your own self-signed root, code signing certificate and use it to sign Adium.app.

i first uninstalled adium then reinstalled the newest version and before i opened it edited the plist. after that I've had no problems with it asking for passwords on every launch, dunno if that'll work with all of you. (used appzapper to uninstall).

I like the idea. I wonder if the solid bars don't evoke progress or loading bars. Which, may be fine. Have you thought about dots? Like 5 dots that appear individually in succession? Less "loading" more "countdown".

Can't wait to see it finished though!

This is a nice hack, but yeah, Adium does keep asking for the account password. I guess that due to the modification, its cryptographic signature is invalid and therefore it does not get access to the keychain. I know no way around this, so maybe we need app level support to remove the dock icon after all.

Hey I love this thing and have used it for long. But now on the new Adium they have changed the “Info.plist”, so now this will not work! any new solution?

Thanx/

Hey Dan, my first time in the Challenge I finished in 1:15. I rode the next three years and finished in 1:11, 1:09 and 1:07. The next year I injured myself, was off the bike for 4 months and haven't ridden the event the past 3 years. Next year I'll ride with you.

Helpful post, Dan. I came upon your site while thinking we should use what google uses as an icon to signify condo developments near metro, subway, etc. on our website as part of the search criteria. I think we'll go with the basic "M" since that's the most widely used.

Way to be, Woody!
