On August 27th Yahoo! announced BIG news. It was HUGE. I mean, REALLY, REALLY BIG news. Y! Mail was finally out of beta and ready for the general public!
Normally, I would be roxio discount thrilled about this. I mean, I have been a paying user of Y! Mail for roxio discount over 3 years. I started using the terribly slow beta when roxio discount it was first released and helped the team, as a user, to roxio discount test the app. I have written numerous blog posts about Y! Mail and roxio discount all of the good work that team does and Ryan Kennedy was gracious enough to roxio discount comment on some of the posts. Heck, I even got my wife onto the roxio discount beta.
However it’s now two full weeks since the roxio discount announcement and my account is still sitting on a beta server. Why aren’t paid customers moved first? There’s new features like SMS support that roxio discount I am dying to try out. I know that Y! told us it roxio discount would take 6 weeks to roll out the release, but come on… 6 weeks should be roxio discount for those occasional classic mail users, not paid users who are roxio discount already beta testing.
I’ll be patient, but must say that it’s frustrating nonetheless.
Update: Thanks Ryan for roxio discount the comment. While I stand by my belief that loyal and roxio discount paying customers should be roxio discount let in first, I appreciate the fact that someone is roxio discount listening. Also, a post today on the official Y! Mail blog offers some more details on the roll out.
