I returned from lunch to find this dialog front and center on my screen:

Yikes!

I use Plaxo to sync my Apple address book with Yahoo! If I believe that this isn’t some sort of malware disguising itself as a Plaxo alert, then this is just the software alerting me that the cert is invalid. Perhaps that’s even worse… a viable product with a large install base is distributing invalid certificates?

Clicking to view the details I see that GoDaddy is an unknown authority.

What would you do? Would you click to trust?
