Dan Saffer, Rachel Glaves and Andrew Crow started an online meme. All it took was a large number of followers on Twitter, a good idea and persistence.

Andrew describes it well:

It started with Dan mistyping Alabama as Alobama. The joke was that when Obama wins, things would be renamed. Like Californobama, etc. We then started Twittering the hell out of it and it really blew up today.

You can see how the meme is taking off across Twitter. What’s crazy is that a search for Obama results mostly in this meme.
