I heard about a new social networking site focused around cyclists that’s named “bicipeople“. Since I kicked around the idea of building such as site at one point, I raced over an signed up. It’s not half bad. The design is better than most of the social networking sites floating out there (e.g default Drupal skin). It’s also pretty easy to use, though I found it really hard to add a friend.

All that being said, I doubt that I’ll be back there again. Unless I connect with a ton of local riders via this site, I don’t see any more value than what I can get on my blog right here. Since there’s only 161 active users and they seem to be spread across the globe, I doubt I’ll get a lot out of this. Still, feel free to sign up and friend me if ya want.
