My 2008 Blog In Review

12.20.07 | Comment?

Christian tagged me with a meme. I am to publish a post containing the first word of the first post of each month for the year. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually had enough posts. It was fun to go back through the year in blogging and review my writing.

  1. January: Now that there is a dog around the house I am spending a lot more time at the pet store.
  2. February: I signed up for a FreshBooks account today and love some of the elements they incorporated into the signup process.
  3. March: Using the one-click upgrade at Dreamhost I was able to upgrade this blog to the latest and greatest version 2.12.
  4. April: Posted by mobile phone: Today MobileCrunch announced version 1.2 of the WordPress Mobile plugin.
  5. May: Last weekend, Chris and Sara came over for an early birthday celebration for Hanna.
  6. June: Posted by mobile phone: Today Tracy and I stopped into baby store named Giggle in Walnut Creek, shopping for others.
  7. July: I am attending this year’s UX Week conference presented by Adaptive Path.
  8. August: The Google Transit team has been busy.
  9. September: Chris wrote a post for the official Google Earth and Maps blog today.
  10. October: Today, I launched Yahoo! Mail and found that my account has finally been moved onto the new version announced a few weeks back.
  11. November: I just found out that this week is “Bathroom Blogfest”.
  12. December: The Core77 Design Blog ran two posts today about bike theft.

I have tagged Guy, Peter, Andrew, Dan and Ryan to pick up this meme.
