I am attending the Rich Web Experience conference in San Jose today and tomorrow. After watching the opening panel and checking out the attendees, this is definitely a developer focused event. We’re going to be talking a lot about AJAX, Flex, Silverlight and AIR. So far, the Dojo JavaScript toolkit and Selenium have piqued my interest.
Right now, I am in a session led by Bill Scott. He is presenting his newest project that allows for easy prototyping of rich interfaces. Bill wants to add a GUI layer on top of his Protoscript scripting language. His description of this designer-friendly interface makes me think of the interactive CD authoring tool mTropolis that I used in 1996.
