Four months ago I found Snap Preview Anywhere and added to this blog.  Today, the service is renamed Snap Shots and offers more than just web page previews.  Link to a photo on Flickr and you see that photo.  Link to a Wikipedia article, and you get that article.  Very cool stuff.  It also seems that they improved the performance of snap.
