Maybe I’m the only one, but in the last week I’ve notice a significant upswing in the amount of comment spam that get’s through.  This blog has recieved 2 or 3 in a week, but the blog at work has really been hit hard.  There’s 5-10 per day that get past the Akismet spam blocker (at Extractable).  It’s better than nuthin’ since there’s over 200 spam that ARE caught.  It’s possible that this is not a new phenomenon since I’ve only become the administrator of the work blog recently, after the departure of traitor Xian to Google MSN Ask Yahoo!
