I setup a Flickr about a year ago but never really used it much until this last week.  I’ve started dumping all of my digital photos onto the site.  I must say that I am very impressed the the functionality of Flickr.  Those guys did a really good job with the site.  For example, today I decided to chage the background of my desktop to one of my Flickr photos.  Curious if there was a software application to do this for me automatically, I ran a web search.  Sure enough, someone named John Conners wrote a little app to do just this.  It worked like a charm!

As Xian and I are working on a side project that will involve the posting of user generated photos and video, I am going to start reading through all of the API documentation for both Flickr and YouTube.
